Pandora’s Box is a new VetNurseView initiative born out of the realisation that not all animal welfare organisations are equal! There are still welfare clinics in South Africa that are struggling to provide basic health care to animals and communities in need. On the other hand, there are many generous practices that donate unused, close to expiry or excess veterinary resources to welfare. Pandora’s Box seeks to connect the two together and make better use of valuable resources that are often merely tossed in the bin.

Veterinary goods and medicines available! Please contact VNV if you are interested in receiving any of the below mentioned donated goods. Your clinic must be SAVC registered in order to receive donated goods. Animal Welfare Organisations may also receive donated goods that are not considered scheduled veterinary medicines. Please be aware that the medications and products pictured are out of date or close to expiry date. Please use the VNV contact form to list your requirements. Postage is possible if prepaid by yourself.

The box pictured on the right is ready to be sent to any welfares in need. It contains a box of 24G iv catheters, burn shield dressings, ET tubes, insulin syringes, micropore tape, alcohol pads, yellow bungs and a buretrol.
